Made myself a little coffee mug because coffee is life 🙌🏽☕️ A few more in the kiln ready to take to market. Swipe 👈🏻 to see the inside which turned out a bit magical ✨
Porcelain was the first clay I started with and quickly dumped for stoneware and that expensive block of clay has been staring at me ever since. Finally got it out and had a big play. Lots of new pieces added soon.
Glaze mixing in the studio 🍂
It's a plate making kind of day.. But first ☕️
Marbling has always been my favourite thing to do and what two long weeks of school holidays / I'm going to get messy! 🙌🏽
It's been a crazy week with friend and her family staying from New Zealand and I'm just surviving from too much fun and too little sleep! This bowl has been popular and I'm on a production line of them today. I'm one to not make the patterns match but as a set others might like a match? What do you think?
I had fun making some giant spoon shovels.. But now I'm wondering what does one do with a giant spoon shovel? 🤔 #spoonshovelsareathing
Busy week entertaining friends staying from New Zealand. Do you ever have people who want to buy your pieces and then you think..no it's not for sale! I want it! I think I might hide this one before she tries to leave with it. 😆 #handsoffnotforsale
Just hanging around. Tribal inspired ceramic wall hangings in the shop.
Spice bowl set on a speckled clay tray with driftwood 🌿
The kiln has been firing too high apparently, but I'm loving the burnt orange colours it's adding to my white plates 🙌🏽
Day 2 school holidays and I've lost my brain cells for creative writing. So here's a bowl and spoon🍜🍴
Creative Art is a tough industry. I've been in it my entire life. First in fashion design, jewellery design, painting and now pottery. You tend to feel attached to the pieces you create and you just can't keep them all! These babies are being packed up and posted to their new home- my husband and I quite wanted them ourselves so hopefully I can make more for Christmas!
I made this slab and coil built pot months ago. It sat drying forever as I didn't like it enough to fire it. Finally put it in to bisque.. Still didn't like it, so it sat for even more months. Finally decided to glaze it - and now I love it! Ha the life of a potter. at Gold Coast, Queensland
I can't help from buying gum leaves everytime I see them.. I need my own tree! New pieces have arrived- added to the shop soon. 🌿
Fridays 🙌🏽 and school holidays begin. New bowls added to the site.
I've been vegetarian/ vegan for 26 years - long before it was a popular lifestyle and I used to survive off salad 😆 so I get pretty excited by all these fabulous new vegan products. This Veganzola is 👌🏼🙌🏽. @thehealthynoshco
