🔗 Visit tiny.cc/334gpz to read more. In one sense, the present crisis has narrowed our intellectual horizons. Mostly, we’re preoccupied day-to-day with some of the most basic questions of human survival: like whether we can put enough food on the table, or protect ourselves and our loved ones from harm. * Yet, at the same time, we’ve never had a broader canvas on which to sketch big ideas. With so much of our world turned upside down - from the ways we work, to the things we buy, to the people and experiences we value - we have an opportunity to rethink how our society is organised, and consider how we might wish to do things differently in the future. In this moment, we may find our minds turning to one of the largest questions of all: how we can build a better world for everyone. * The School of Life isn’t just a resource for self-improvement: we ask big questions about the structures and systems that rule our lives, such as capitalism, technology, religion, and modernity itself. Visit our shop for more tools to find perspective in the face of life’s challenges.

Losing isn’t a freakish anomaly - it is an inevitable and wholly normal part of being human. We are often led to believe that people will like us for our strength and success. In actual fact, it’s usually the revelation of our fears, failures, doubts and vulnerabilities that opens the door to genuine friendship. So, with this in mind, we encourage you to share with us - in what ways are you a real loser? * The Loser Game is a game with a difference - where those who win are great at losing. 🔗 Link in bio or swipe to shop

Our society is greatly interested in ‘winners’, but pays very little attention to ‘losers’. This is a great shame, because even those who appear outwardly pristine and successful beyond our wildest dreams (Oscar-winning actors, sportsmen and women with virtually unbeaten records, world-famous pop superstars) have all made spectacular, embarrassing, toe-curling blunders and mistakes - ones that continue to haunt them even years later as they lie wide-eyed and awake at 4am. Nobody is immune from failure - we just know far, far more of our own clumsy, idiotic and spiteful sides than we do of others. * The Loser Game is a game with a difference - where those who win are great at losing. 🔗 Link in bio or swipe to shop
