NGC 7000, also known as the North America Nebula, is a giant emission nebula in the constellation of Cygnus. The nebula is being energized by the light from stars embedded within. it is a very large area of emission nebulosity extending some 2,5 degrees to the east of Deneb. it was discovered in the early 1890's during experiments into wide field astrophotography. The North America Nebula : a vivid 20 light year long emission nebula lying approximately 1500 LY's away. #northamerica #nebula #emission #lightyear #constellation #stars #space #universe #astronomy #astrophysics #astrophotography #wonderful #earth #visible #science #physics #brightness #cosmos #astrodaily #hydrogen #discovery #telescope #hubble #colors
