The word Jaguar comes from the Native American word "yajuar." Yajuar means "he who kills with one leap." Unlike many other cats, jaguars do not avoid water; in fact, they are quite good swimmers.πŸ† #jaguar By: @brookimage

Photo: @emilypolar This rickety bridge leads deep into one of my favorite forests in the hills of Helambu, Nepal. When I'm in these forests I feel like I'm not alone and I don't mind that one bit. . . This area is recognized as one of the β€˜Hidden-Lands’, or Beyul in Tibetan, which are remote regions of the Himalayas that the eighth century Tantric Buddhist Padmasambhava is said to have designated as places for spiritual accomplishment and practice. Tibetan Buddhists consider these lands sacred recognizing the power and blessings they hold for increased experience and practice.
