Here is a peak into our lake house, Gingerbread Point!
A rare look at my master bedroom without clothes and toys scattered all over the floor. One of my favorite spots in my house.
I love my letter "B" ❤❤❤
Remember when you were a kid and you built a fort out of every pillow and blanket that you could find? Today’s loft makeover reveal is sorta like that. Swipe to see the before and after of coziest loft bedroom and come read about it #ontheblogtoday #linkinbio
Need a cute but cheap Easter craft idea?
The blue vase on the left was handcrafted by yours truly at the last Earthborn Studios pottery event. I love making pottery, even when all I create are crooked and weird looking pieces! In the middle is a piece of an old door that I found at a fun side of the road junk place in Sylacauga called DéjàVu 280. They had some awesome old junk in that place, and I had a great time looking through it all and bringing home a few treasures. More spring mantel decoration inspiration #ontheblog

My @katiedaisy_artist calendar must have known what we were in for this month. Great reminders here! #covidkindness
I found the old wooden shoe at a local thrift shop for dirt cheap, so I brought it home and planted little sprigs of moss and a piece of lamb’s ear inside. I can think of nothing that says “Spring!” more than a wooden shoe. Nobody in the world knows how to do spring flower bulbs better than the Dutch, so here’s my little nod to them in my Spring décor.

Since we basically have to wear full biohazard suits to go to the grocery store these days—only to find empty shelves—I’ve started growing lots more fruits and veggies at home. Instead of filling my whisky barrels with flowers, I’m growing tomatoes, cucumbers, squash, zucchini, Romaine lettuce and Kentucky Wonder Beans. 🍓 Strawberries and blueberries and blackberries.... I’m hoping by Summer we will have more veggies than we can eat and enough to share with the neighbors. That’s the good thing about gardening. They give you hope. I’ve never been more thankful for my raised beds that we built a few years back. If you need inspiration on how to build your own suburban garden, clock the link in my bio! 🥬🍅🥒🥦🥕 #pandemicpreps #gardeningtips #backyardgardening
My awesome husband bought me the pretty metal bucket filled with flowers and a ceramic bird statue along with a big bowl full of other architectural antique goodness for Valentine’s Day. Some girls get chocolates and roses, I get architectural salvage and home accents. Sidenote: I’ve always wanted one of those butterflies under glass. When Garrett saw it he got very serious and said “”MOM! I’ve got some really bad news. It’s dead.” Heh. I love that kid. ❤😀😂
