What is the PERFECT IMAGE? ------------------------------------------- There is an aspect ratio you can use as a basis for cropping images. The perfect image is the one with aspect ratio that follows the Golden Ratio 1/1.6 Images in these proportions will be seen as naturally appealing, calming. These proportions are not intrusive, and – as a side effect – are failing to attract attention. If you choose higher or wider aspect ratios - there should be a reason for that -------------------------------------------- Want some more tips like these? Follow @visualexpert

The whole color wheel can be divided into two major groups - COOL colors and WARM colors. Cool colors do exactly what the name suggests. It gives a sense of coolness (I mean opposite of "warm"), freshness and also a bit of #natural feel as well. They can have a calming effect, as most of these colors can be easily found in nature. Cool colors can be used to make your design feel spacious (especially true for interior designs). ----------------------------------------------- Look for more color tips on my Instagram feed @visualexpert

Divide the color wheel into four quadrants (like in this example) and then choose colors accordingly. -------------------------------------------- If you need a calm, static feel and a "silent voice" to your visuals, choose a color palette from the same quadrant. These colors are also called #analogous colors. They are similar as they stand next to each other on the color wheel. The visuals with these colors will not be attentive or intrusive. They will seem calmer, without movement. ------------------------------------------ Learn how to use colors in your visuals - follow @visualexpert
