Have you ever been sooo down or in a funk that you are not sure just what it is that is holding you back?
I can say YES! To both!
As many of you know I quit my corporate 8:30-5:30 Sales Career back in July after my last competition. At that time I was losing stability of prep because I was going into an improvement season. I lost the stability of my job routine as I went into personal training where I made my own hours and I lost all financial stability because I decided to take a risk and pursue a career in health and fitness.
It has not been an easy transition into this new career path but I can say it is the most rewarding thing I have done this far in my 25 Years of life! Although I never thought I would see the light at the end of the tunnel, I push through the long ass days (I’m talking 4am to 11pm type days) and am finally starting to realize why I love helping others so much!
Although my days are so much longer than I could ever imagine, they seem to fly by! Today I had 5 clients, took a 30 min break and trained another 2 clients. I went straight to Golds, trained glutes for 2 hours...(I got so lost in trying new exercises) and then finished my 32 min of cardio.
When I say go after WHATEVER THE HELL it is that you are passionate about...I truly can say I’m living and breathing it.
If you take anything away from this post...it should be TAKE THE RISK or LOSE THE CHANCE because GREAT things never come in comfort zones!
When was the last time you stepped outta your comfort zone???
