It is easy to get so caught up in things that you forget to simply enjoy the moment. Here is my good friend taking it all in. He is heading back to Pennsylvania now but we had some good times here in the PNW. You will be missed but here is to the next adventure kid. at Rialto Beach
Took one final road trip with my brother Luke along the Washington coast on a hunt for a sunset. But instead we found a lone surfer shredding the cold violent ocean. Felt like I was shooting for a surf magazine. at Rialto Beach
There is nothing like walk a Washington forest. The crisp air and vibrant colors always put a sense of excitement in me.
Changing it up a bit with some brick and mortar. at Seattle, Washington
A good day to just get away and fly. #optoutside at Poo Poo Point
Just below those clouds is a cold, dark, and rainy scene. Push through it all and you find paradise. at Rattlesnake Lake
I usually am in the train of thought that perfection is a theory rather then a reality. However maybe it exists within these tiny fragments of time where everything aligns for that brief moment. Maybe thats the beauty of photography, catching those moments of perfection. at Heather Lake Trail
One of my favorite things about the #pnw is the abundance of waterfalls. Each one has its own unique characteristics.
Hey all, trying something new on Instagram this week. I will be selling 5x7 prints on a photo of your choice from my feed for $20. Send me a direct message with the photo of choice and I will provide more info on placing an order. at Rattlesnake Lake
Here in the PNW fall comes quick and fades into winter just as fast. at Rattlesnake Lake
Going the distance to get the best views of deception pass. These climbers are here every weekend practicing the intense climb up this massive tree. at Deception Pass Park
After an intense hike to the summit. Its nice to take it all in, reflect on your past, and start the morning off a new.
For me this image doesn’t just speak to a romantic (aesthetic) mind but to a critical mind as well. It is the result of good planning and the hard work it took to get there. I realize how much more beautiful things are when you appreciate what went into it.
Goodbye summer you will be missed. A beach day would be nice right about now. There is just something about the ocean that always strikes a chord in my soul.
It’s Friday! Time to head back out in to the wild! #getoutstayout at Lake 22
It was a cold morning when the alarm went off at 4am. I remember just wanting to stay bundled up in the sleeping bag. For whatever reason I didn’t, there was a calling and we answered. We drove the 2 miles of bumpy backcountry road in the dead of night to get to the trailhead. Then began an early morning hike up to summit lake. Our headlamps lit the way on a trail littered with bear tracks and fear sunk in. We pushed on racing the sun as it rose slowly lighting the earth more and more. The hike was strenuous for a body that had just been woken from a deep sleep. Eventually we made it to the top just moments before the sun crossed the horizon. This was the first time I ever captured a sun rise. Many lessons to learn but the experience will never be forgotten.
Took a day trip up to Deception pass with my two favorite people. It’s the simple things like spending time together that bring the most happiness. at Deception Pass State Park
For a moment I thought I was on a tropical island somewhere in the gulf. The blue waters of this alpine lake were incredible.
